Retro Fresh Birthday

Hello!  Here’s the second card  in my birthday card series this week.  This one and the one I posted yesterday were the two “masculine” cards for my birthday card stamp-a-stack.  I’m always very challenged when it comes to masculine cards.  I just really prefer girlie stuff.  OK, I admit… it’s still a little cutsey, but it’s better than most of the others I create.  🙂

Retro Fresh birthday

For this one, I used the smallest banner in the Banner Framelits to cut out little banners from the Retro Fresh Designer Paper.  The greeting is from the Perfectly Penned stamp set.

Supplies Used:

  • Stamps:  Perfectly Penned
  • Ink:  Early Espresso
  • Paper:  Baked Brown Sugar, Retro Fresh dsp
  • Big Shot:  Banners Framelits
  • Embellishments:  7/16″ Natural Trim, Naturals Designer Buttons

Oh I REALLY LOVE this one!!! I love the Perfectly Penned Stamp Set as they work really well for Masculine sentiments. I love how you used the Natural Trim along with the Naturals Designer Button for embellishing across your banners!! LOVE IT!! 🙂

Hi Amy, When is your next birthday stamp a stack class? I miss you. Shelly

  3. Great masculine card! I love how you’ve used the ribbon, and by not tying a bow on the button, it looks like a masculine button. I struggle with guy cards too, but i’d say you nailed it with this one.

Love it . . . I went in search of a few masculine cards this morning and this one fits the bill perfectly!! Thanks, Amy!!
