O Holy Night Chalkboard

O Holy Night Chalkboard-001I spotted a really cute project on pinterest where someone had made a little chevron bag with this stamp using the chalkboard technique, and I fell in love with it!  This stamp works perfectly with the chalkboard technique.

Chalkboard technique:  It’s so easy to do. Just stamp your stamp in Versamark ink on Basic Black card stock.  Then, heat emboss it using White Embossing Powder.  Then, use the Whisper White Craft Ink and sponge a little ink around on the black card stock.  This makes it look like eraser marks.

This is definitely a clean and simple card but it doesn’t need much with the big bow and chalkboard focal point.

This is the 4th and final card we’ll be making at my September Stamp-a-Stack.  If you’d like to participate online, click on the Online Clubs tab above for more info.

  • Stamps:  O Holy Night

  1. What a great project, Amy! I love your chalkboard technique — it looks so realistic. And that big red bow makes the card look extra special.
