Freshly Made Wedding Card & Winner of August Mystery Hostess Drawing

Happy Friday!  I don’t know if school started this week where you live, but this was our first week of school here in Frisco, TX.  I only have one daughter that is still here at home in school and she started her Junior year of high school this year.  And, we survived the first week!  Yay!  Oh… and she started her first job this week working at a local grocery store as a checker.  So much growing up!

Anyway…. I seem to be rambling.  What I really wanted to say is that one of the projects I needed to complete this week was to  make a wedding card to send with a gift.  So, when looking for inspiration, I went to one of my favorite inspiration blogs  – Freshly Made Sketches.  I used their sketch this week to create this card.

Love & Laughter

I decided to use the Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper, simply because, #1:  I haven’t used it yet and #2:  it has the word romance in it, so what could be better for a wedding card??  Therefore, I pulled my color scheme from that paper.

Supplies Used:

  • Stamps:  Love & Laugther
  • Ink:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar
  • Paper:  Very Vanilla, Pistachio Pudding, Venetian Romance dsp
  • Punches:  Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
  • Embellishments:  Pearl Basic Jewels, Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Stretch Trim

Also, yesterday was the deadline to submit an online order with August Hostess Code for my Mystery Hostess Drawing.  The orders totaled up to $450, so our lucky winner will receive $65 in FREE products of her choice along with one half price item if she chooses.

And the winner is…… drumroll…… Shelly Kendall!  Hooray for Shelly!  Please email me with your product choices by Saturday, August 31.

Check back on Sunday for the September Hostess Code.  Maybe next month will be your lucky month!  🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
