Founders Circle Swap

I’ve been waiting to share this card with you until after I’ve swapped it at Founders Circle because I didn’t want to spoil the surprise.  Last night was our swap, so I can now share it with you.  🙂

Our theme was Party Ready: “Simple Two-Layer Make & Takes”.  Now before you tell me that my card has more than 2 layers…. I know!  I really did try!  My original plan was to just have the designer paper layer and the spider.  But, it just didn’t look right.  I needed layers behind those layers to make it look right.  But… it’s still simple.  I would definitely use it as a make & take (but I would do the Big Shot cutting ahead of time for everyone).

Supplies Used:

  • Stamps:  Border Banter, Googly Ghouls
  • Ink:  Black Stazon
  • Paper:  More Mustard, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Howlstooth & Scaringbone dsp
  • Big Shot:  Oval Accent Bigz Clear, Apothecary Accents framelits, Delicate Doilies Sizzlit
  • Punches:  1 1/4″ Circle
  • Embellishments:  Striped Satin Ribbon, Designer Ribbon Slides, Googlies

  1. Love this, Amy! I love what you did with the ribbon slide. That doily layer just makes the card! 🙂
